Everything was DELICIOUS, We loved the smoked fish dip was nicely smoked, creamy, and not too fishy at all! The secret potatoes and Dan Dan campanelle are also a good choice. Great service. Just be aware that there will be long waits on weekend mornings.

Yangs always delivers with fresh and delicious ingredients. My usual brunch order consists of the cold sesame noodles, their breakfast plate with their locally sourced juicy bacon, orange juice (TRUST ME! The fresh squeezed makes all the difference!) and something from the small bite menu, this time around we got smoked salmon hash. The sesame noodles are creamy, nutty and have such an amazing texture with those fresh vegetables and peanuts. The breakfast plate might seem uninteresting at first but I promise you that it is more than just some regular eggs and bacon. The hash browns are nice and crispy, the bacon is deliciously fatty (so good in fact, I went to grab some from the Santa Monica farmers market so I can make them at home), the eggs are nice and fluffy and their house scallion ranch sauce is to die for. Portions are definitely shareable so bring a friend along to this feast. I absolutely love coming here, the food is unbelievable and the service is so quick. It's my favorite brunch spot at the moment! The restaurant itself is nice and bright but might be a little tight for bigger groups. Make sure you check the wait time before you come especially on weekends! Yangs is usually PACKED, and for good reason, the food is worth the trek. I'll be back to write a review on their dinner menu as well. So excited to try it soon :)

We waited for almost forty minutes to see what the hype was all about. We found parking on the street on a Sunday morning. Be warned, not a whole lot of parking spots on the street since it was the weekend, and the farmer's market was just around the corner. You register your party on a tablet. The host came out and asked us to check in, and we told them that we'd be open to whatever was available, ie "the bar." It's not really a bar. It's more like a counter facing a mirror. No big deal. The place was well lit, clean and definitely buzzing with conversations, good energy and of course, FOOD. I saw a Hainan fish that I wanted to try. Unfortunately, that's only offered on their dinner menu. So I ordered the cold sesame noodles. So, I'm not a big fan of any cold noodles, but this was good. I was SUPER hesitant because I wanted something predictable that I know that I'd like... but this surprised me. It was "light," peanut sauce with a kick. Loved the refreshing bite of the veggies mixed with the fulfilling noodles. Next time I go back, I'm going to ask for sauce on the side because I thought the dish was drowned with sauce. Overall, goooood. The mister ordered the breakfast plate. Solid dish. The hanger steak was AMAZIIIIIIIIIING!!! Super tender! I thought it had the consistency of wagyu beef from Japan. Super tender, melted in my mouth like butter! We got it medium rare, which we normally don't order but wanted to try it since it was suggested by the server. I didn't order this dish because of the hash brown. Hash browns are usually super oily and heavy, in my humble opinion. This was NOT the case. It was cooked perfectly. Delicious. It didn't feel taste oily or heavy. It was a great addition to the dish. Delicious meal. Good service. The wait was a bit long and we had to park a few blocks away, but overall, we had a great time. Will most definitely be back with our wolf pack.

I had a wonderful weekend brunch meal at Yang's Kitchen. They serve fusion Asian foods. I also heard they are mission driven and purchase ingredients from the local businesses and farmers market. The food is delicious. I got to try the Breakfast Plate with Peads & Barnetts Bacon & Sausage Patty. I preferred the bacon's texture and salty flavor more than the sausage. Get the eggs soft scrambled - it was the perfect creamy texture and tasted savory. The peads are a square of potato crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, like a fancy hash brown. The restaurant interior is cozy with earthy colored tones and live plants. It's loud inside because of how close the tables are to each other though, which makes it hard to have conversations without raising voices. The service was good, not great. It was hard to get a hold of the servers because they were busy. The front desk lady gave our table to someone else even though we were waiting in the front and our table was ready (notified from Yelp text message), so we had to wait longer than expected. Be sure to get a hold of the front desk lady right when you receive the table-ready text. Tip: - the parking lot behind the restaurant is small. If it's full, park in the plaza (with Sephora, Mikomi, etc) two blocks away - arrive early to put your name down. I had a 30 minute wait for a table - go on a Sunday. While waiting for a table, there's a farmers market in the block next to Yang's kitchen you can walk around! I'd definitely come back for the food!

Food was fresh. I think the biggest takeaway for me is it tasted extremely clean. Not many restaurants give you that kind of feeling but I definitely felt full, warmed, and satisfied and also healthier after eating here. I got the congee aka the Arroz Caldo. It was very well balanced, although the amount of congee they gave was quite a lot. I'd consider it a bowl of congee with a few toppings rather than a bowl of equally proportioned ingredients if you know what I mean. I was left a little wanting more of some extra chicken. But everything went well together and it was perfectly savory. The mochi pancakes were also great. Very thin, almost crepe like to be honest. It's not as filling if you're looking for some volume. The condensed milk helps to take it to a sweet edge. My friend got the breakfast plate which in hindsight I wish I got because it looked like a heartier meal. The service was super friendly. Everyone there was like a young hipster, I almost couldn't tell if they worked there because they're in casual clothes, but they were smiley and attentive. Great place. Will definitely go back.

I've always wanted to try this restaurant since it looked good whenever I saw it on tiktok or instagram. I went around 2 right before their lunch break. We were luckily able to get a seat even though it was pretty packed inside. It was really lively inside with people and also the pretty loud music. The workers were nice and the ingredients listed from where everything is from was interesting to know. When I received the menu, I did think that the price was on a slightly higher side but it wasn't bad knowing the current restaurant prices. I wanted to try the yangs set meal and got it with steelhead after our waiter suggested it when I was struggling to choose between steeelhead and barramundi. I went with my friend and we ordered the cornmeal mochi pancake, smoked salmon hash, and the yangs set meal. I enjoyed the pancake. We got it with the toppings on the side so it looked a lil funny, but it was delicious! The smoked salmon hash was good to start out with and felt different than the usual hash/salmon dish than I have ever tried. The yangs set meal was tasty too and felt that the portion felt good for me, but I feel like others may think it is not enough. I would definitely return to this restaurant with other friends or family for a brunch or to try out their dinner menus. The only downside was the prices, but I felt it was worth it! :)

Small restaurant with a modern twist on Asian food, and the prices to match. Don't come here if you're looking for cheap Asian food. Make sure to make reservations thru yelp! Everything we ordered was tasty and left is wanting more: pork belly (perfectly cooked with a slight char on the outside), fish and ice (rice was soo good like hainan chicken rice), crab noodle, flan (it was fine, would have preferred their other dessert but it was sold out)

Asian classics with a fancy pansty twist. My bf made reservations here on Weed Day (4/20 lol) with our friends here. The vibe feels almost like you're dining in the Arts District of LA. Service here was super awesome and friendly! I ordered the hangar steak with a side of potatoes. I appreciate how transparent the staff was when accommodating for my shellfish allergy. Not many restaurants let you know upfront that they use the same pan to cook other shellfish dishes. Our meal was pretty delish. I loved my steak dish and the chimichurri inspired sauce that it came with it. Flan was the best part of our meal. It didn't taste eggy at all. It was so smooth and decadent so it was a perfect way to end our meal. The caramel had some espresso in it but im not complaining.

Finally was able to try this place after having it bookmarked since the pandemic. I convinced my friends to go with me for my birthday this year and unfortunately it happened to be on a Sunday in late February when they were celebrating the Lunar New Year....AGAIN...very strange. So it was quite chaotic, parking was challenging and it was insanely crowded on the streets. Luckily there was plenty of outdoor seating (we were the only ones at first) so we got seated quickly. My friends and I ordered the cornmeal mochi pancake to share- which was pretty tasty, we loved the texture of it and it was quite large. After that we individually got separate entrees- all of my friends ordered the congee (they all thought it was pretty good, although one friend said it was too peppery?). I got the Yang's set meal with the chicken thigh- I thought it was good but the portions were small in my opinion. I had a lot of leftover rice because I didn't have enough protein and sides to go with it. I do appreciate their efforts to be more environmentally friendly and use premium ingredients but I do have to say this place is probably more of a splurge and for special occasions because of the price vs. portion size. But I'm glad I was able to finally try it, will definitely have to return to try other things on their menu.
